We began our Student Votes election unit this week! Today we learned about different types of governments around the world, and tomorrow, we begin to learn about the five major political parties in Canada and what they believe. Students continue to ask me who I'm voting for, and I'm staying very neutral. It's fun to here the opinions come out in class. You can tell who talks about politics at home! If you're watching a debate, or talking about the upcoming election, I encourage you to include your kids in the discussion. They are bright and inquisitive and love talking about the election.

There are a few math questions that students didn't finish in class today. They can use the attached PDF to answer those questions.

Finally, there are LOTS of notices. The most important is the field trip notice for our field trip to Royal Heights Park on Thursday. Students need to bring it back to be able to come. The other two are optional.

Have a great night!
